Author: bearded-jocked Date Posted: 3/22/2026 12:00:00 AM	Subject: Yes! Hell, after getting racked HARD during practice once, I always wore a cup for basketball even. Did NOT want that to happen again! Buddy on here in NE says that cups are very widely used for HS and college basketball and soccer.

Some even double jocked for protection and extra padding. After running the court for an hour in a cup I can only imagine the jock itch on a guys thighs. During high school state finals many players have quit wearing compression shorts and the basketball shorts are getting shorter like they were when I was in high school. Wondering if that is a sign of the return of jockstraps or just briefs.
