Otherwise, a quick soak for an hour, then air drying, then wetting it just before use is good. Also, I forgot to ask what kinds of jockstraps work best for you too. I used to do wide-band, cup, cotton styles, but lately I've enjoyed the Bike Swimmer style as the pouch still holds the piss well for extra wetness, and the slim waistband fits in the mouth and makes it easier to find the pouch without hands. (If, for some reason you don't have access to your hands)
