Author: Strapped Wrangler Date Posted: 7/30/2018 12:00:00 AM	Subject: REPAIR JOCKS Yes. When I was 18 years old and was a cowboy, we did not go into town for 3 months. When my jocks wore out I had to repair them myself. I had to wear them high on my waist, above my hips so the lower part of the pouch would pull my balls up forward. I rode bareback, and would have sat on my balls if I could not pull them up high. When I got a wife I would have her repair a jock if it was still good, but had a minor problem. Also, I would have her chop of an inch of the top of the pouch and re-sew it to the waist band. That eliminated the extra material in the pouch so I could wear it on my hips and still get lift. Sometimes I would salvage the non-roll leg straps off of a jock I did not like, and sew them onto a better jock. Non-roll leg straps feel better when riding horseback. Once I sewed a second pouch onto a jock. That gave great support at branding time. We had to wrestle steers and hold then down with our legs and arms while they were branded. The steers kicked and fought real hard. You want a real good jock for some of the work we did on ranches. You don't want your balls to be dangling. A good jock can make you feel real secure and ready to do anything a man has to do.
Author: strapd365 Date Posted: 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM	Subject: Jock Alterations My legs are on the slender side so I sometimes need to alter the legs straps - shorten them a little - I have a few jocks that I've had to make minor repairs to the pouch - they fit so well I don't want to part with them - Every time I make an adjustment or repair I think of Mrs Anderson - my 7th grade Home Economics teacher - if she could see me now with a jock in one and hand and a needle and thread in the other!
