They were manufactured at Keighley in Yorkshire and were immensely popular in the UK and were exported overseas to some other English speaking countries such as Australia - but not, so far as I know, to the USA. I very much regret that they went out of production some years ago when the company stopped trading!

Sadly, being utilitarian design and plain unbleached cotton, many millenials would call them old fashion. Good news for UK jockstrap fans is Sallis Healthcare of Nottingham make a very similar jockstrap for £14 including p&p. (Payment by cheque only. No overseas mail order.)
