Subject: GYM jockstrap 2.0
I have received an order of new GYM jockstraps 2.0. The jockstraps.com email describes the pouches on the 2.0 as being slightly shorter by ½”. I can confirm that the pouches do seem shorter by that amount. The shorter pouch is much better in my opinion as I have always felt that they were too long and the ½” shortening means a better fit for me. I cannot comment on the waistband being larger as I take a small size for 28” waist for for size small they didn’t enlarge the waistband which I think they could easily have. Otherwise, the new GYM jockstrap 2.0 is still a good jockstrap.

Sounds like great improvements. Wish they'd make a 60's BIKE throw back version with mostly cotton and rubber, and NO scratchy polyester!

I'd love to see that throwback jockstrap with cotton and rubber no polyester too.

Subject: MUCH IMPROVED

The new manufacture of the GYM JOCKS 2.0 are much improved. The excess of the baggy pouch material behind your balls has been removed. They cup part of the pouch is now located under my balls to lift them forward, exactly where I want them. It fits snug like the old time BIKES, a long awaited improvement!

I can even put my cock in the "up" position against my belly, and most of the time it stays there. It takes some pressure off my balls.

The new poly materials dry fast. But like other modern poly jocks the micro-fibers on the leg straps start unraveling the first few days and turn into a ball of fuzz. This seems to be a universal problem with many modern jockstraps. It's a trade-off for the good feel and strength of the old cotton jocks, which also did not feel good and rubbed when they got wet from sweat or swimming.

I wash the pouches by hand in plain water the sink at the end of the day and dry them overnight. I try to reduce the number of times I put them in a washing machine.

I am very happy for the supportive fit. As a working man if the work day got tough I had to drive home and put on a jock that gave me more support than the BIKE/GYM JOCK series. I don't have that problem now.

My stuff is on the large size of average (check my profile photos) and there is plenty of room for me in the snugger pouches. I expect there may be a few hung heavy guys who liked the longer pouches with more room, but sorry guys, we all had to suffer with the baggy pouches you wanted. It's our turn now. Majority rules!

I have had the problem of the unraveling leg straps as well over the years with the newer leg straps as Strapped Wrangler has described. I purchased a small laundry bag, it is a cylindrical affair that is perforated and used to wash delicate cloths in. I find one small bag is perfect for washing one or two jockstraps in. Since I’ve been washing my jockstraps in the laundry bag in the washing machine and then hang drying them when done, I’ve had much less of the unraveling of the leg straps.

I’m still loving the GYM 2.0 jockstraps now more than a month after receiving them.
