Cup does the job but balls sore at end of day

I've started wearing the Diamond MMA cup and it fits great and provides maximum protection. The only problem is that after being packed inside my cup for 5+ hours on a Saturday, my balls get sore. They aren't bruised or injured but simply sore from being packed inside hard plastic for hours on end. Any suggestions? I don't want to play without a cup but sometimes I'm sore enough to not want to have sex.

If the cup shifts around then I still had the boys supported and the cup was more comfortable to wear. My raquetball partner did the opposite. Cup and jock first with a BIKE 3 inch waistband jock over the top to stay secure.
Author: jocksnsocks2002 Date Posted: 6/28/2022 12:00:00 AM	Subject: agree - double jocking Having played and coached Lacrosse for years, I can confirm the importance of first strapping into a regular pouch jockstrap, and then pulling the cup-jock over the regular jock. In fact, for me, I added what some of you will remember as 'sanitary shorts' (very thin cotton material, similar to today's boxer-brief") over the first jockstrap, pulled the cup-jock over that, and then finally donned the mesh Lacrosse shorts. The cup is designed to protect from a direct impact, but the regular jockstrap is designed to safeguard the testicles and scrotum from fatigue. I suggest double jocking whenever your sport requires wearing a protective cup.
