Random jock sizes
Anyone know the history or rationale behind BIKE's widely varying waist sizes? Sometimes on the vintage box it will show L as 38-44, or other times 36-38. Even Under Armour will show a size L but people comment that it fits like a M.

I think its pretty typical. A lot of manufactures have changed size guides over the years to reflect changes in society's weights and maybe the fabric content as well plays a part in the size changes.

Shouldn't a Medium still fit as a Medium? Regardless of material, I would think a 34 inch waist should still be a Medium. I see mediums as 34, 34-36, 34-38, etc.

I've been on a hunt for a specific pouch-type of underwear and I've been stunned at the way the brands all have their own version of what sizes are.
