Subject: how old were you when you got your first jockstrap and or cup?
I was 6 when I got a cup for playing hockey. Had to make several replacements as I grew out of them quickly. 13 and in an adult Bike Cup for instance. That is when I began to start wearing regular jockstraps a lot as well. Mostly under my denim cut offs to save the tighty whities. Boarding School there were required. I went full time in a jockstrap at 17. Serious groin injury playing hockey and after the steroids and things, my balls swelled up to jumbo eggs and briefs didn't cut it.
What say you guys? |

I got my first Jockstrap for PE class in 6th grade (age 11) at a rural school in Illinois. I up graded to an adult jock as a freshman in high school. I used to wear a jock a lot at home because like you I got nailed wrestling the neighbor kid in the yard. One testicle got to the size of a baseball, shrunk again and never got any bigger. Later on I waterskied in cutoff jeans and a jock like the neighbor kids did. I spent many days at the lake in a wet Bike. |

Had to get my first jock in 6th grade for PE. A letter went home with a list of things need for PE class, including an athletic supporter. I'm sure it was a BIKE, but I think it probably ended up at Goodwill by the time I hit high school!! |

My first jockstrap was a hand me down from my older brother. When I went into Junior High School we were required to wear jockstraps for gym class. Coming from a rather large family, at the time I had 3 brothers and 4 sisters, we did not have a lot of money so any time my mom could make due…she did. My brother got a new Bike 10 medium jockstrap and I got his old Bike 10 small jockstrap. The Bike 10 did not have the red stripes in it the waistbands at this time. It just had the wheel logo and size label on the front of the jock. It did not bother me that it was my brothers hand me down. I wore that jockstrap for gym class for the next 3 years of Junior High School and the 3 years of High School. |

Subject: First Jockstrap
I got my first jockstrap in 5th grade since it was required for PE. As I became more active in sports I had cups. The first one was a Bike flat cup. I was a little confused as to how to get my cock and balls in it like a jockstrap. As I tried it on dad finally told me it was just to cover my balls. I did not like it. Thankfully Bike brought out the banana cup. The only issue was my balls like to slip out. That is when I leaned to wear a regular jock under my cup strap and for Baseball the sliding shorts over.
The first jockstrap was a boy's regular and soon moved up to a boy's large and boy's large cup. The next year was a adult small and adult small cup. Finally learned med jockstraps with a large cup supporter for any sports where there was a risk of getting nailed in the nuts. For everything else it was an adult large Bike #10. Great support but the waistband would not roll up on you like a pretzel.

Well jocks were not a requirement for me in school so I purchased my first one myself. I think I was maybe in middle school freshmen year of high school. |

Subject: First Jockstrap
I got my first jockstrap for gym class in grade 7, the beginning of junior high school. I was part of the gym outfit we were required to get back then in the 70’s. We boys all had to have a white t shirt, blue short gym shorts, a matching blue gym bag and a Protex jockstrap. For those who aren’t familiar with Protex they were a Canadian company making mostly hockey equipment. The jockstrap was all cotton and had a great pouch and they were super comfortable except that putting it on always gave my a hardon. It was scary but hot changing in the change room back then stealing glances at the other boys getting changed. |

I was in 7th. grade in junior high school in 1958. The athletic supporter was required for PE class along with official shorts and t-shirt. We bought out BILKE#10 at the local sporting goods store that had back to school room for each school. When got chance that night to check my supporter. Open the box and the aroma of rubber and elastic filled the air. Unfolded by BIKE with red stripe on waste band for small. The BIKE log on the front and fell in love with this strap. |

There is nothing like that new jockstrap smell of a Bike Jockstrap. Even the newer ones I have in the packaging still have the same smell and it gets me hard every time. It reminds me of the first jock I got and OH man it was HOT. Thankfully I did not get to hard when my dad checked me to make sure it was actually big enough....Even as a kid I had larger balls |

I got my first jock for hockey as a kid I think it was a Cooper cup and jockstrap , I recall using it for t-ball as well where we had to knock on our own cups to prove we had our equipment on LOL. |

I got my first jock not that long time ago I guess was about 19 years ago but was by football gear which derived to get a jockstrap and my first one was a bike jockstrap which I loved by how nice made looks everything and well that is like all |

technically my first jock was for little league when I was like...9? I think it might have been a Duke. I remember the cup was really small - just a flat triangle with no depth. I had seen my Dad's cup that he wore for hockey, and mine wasn't like that. Then I got my first "real" jock and cup when I was 13 for Lacrosse. |

Subject: started early and transitioned to a cup as I needed more protection
I started wearing a jock in middle school. It was a Bike. In high school I took up rugby and after playing once or twice realized I needed to wear a cup, so started with a Bike boys jockstrap and flat cup. By 10th grade I needed a larger cup, so got a Bike Banana Cup and jock. I vividly remember the cup was yellow and it was one of the most comfortable cups I have ever worn and I've worn many through the years.
I now do MMA and play rugby a few times a week, so remain a regular cup wearer. I now wear a Shock Doctor cup but wish they'd bring back the banana cup. They were fantastic. |

I was an early bloomer and started puberty age 12. My dad who is also a doc and only wore jocks himself felt I needed a little extra support. We went into town to the only sports store and got a couple of Champions for me and more for him. We tried them on together and from that day forward, I wore, wear only jocks. Of course I miss those old Champions, they were the best. |

12 YO 7th grade required for gym class I was a late bloomer No hair till stumbling around the locker room Only a few boys knew how to pt it on About half of the class got boners but after a few weeks everyone was used to it
