Subject: Jocks for running?
Hey guys. Any suggestions for what jocks to wear while running? I usually wear UnderArmour boxer briefs to run 3-5 miles 4 times a week, but now starting to wear jocks instead. I occasionally get chafing where my legs meet my body, so trying to avoid that. I only prefer wideband jocks. Thanks for your suggestions |

I just purchased a 3-pack of grey microfiber jocks from Road Runner sports. They have a narrow 1-inch waistband and unusual tubular straps. Even though you're a wide band guy, try these. They are really comfortable to the point that you have to snap your butt strap up the leg of your shorts to know that you have them on! Here's a tip: I also can have a chaffing problem, so I wear boxer briefs on top of my jock and that works great. |

I still love the GYM 2.0 2” jockstraps for working out, but if you haven’t tried them yet, I would highly recommend the Omtex Ace 3” jockstrap for exercise. Great support and super comfortable pouch and waistband. |

Subject: JOCKSTRAPS
Maybe I am old school but I really like the way a 3" jock anchors the pouch for any activity. I never cared if my T-shirt rode up and the waistband was exposed at the gym. Those who noticed knew I had on a jock. |

Road Runner jocks are available from Roadrunnersports.com in 3 packs. There are two different types, but I'm not too sure what the difference is. I ordered the higher priced jocks first, and just ordered the lower priced jocks to see the difference. Will keep you posted. |

Got 'em. The pouch seems really long, and the leg straps are super narrow. I'm not a fan...might return them. : / |

The straps seem odd, but they are designed in a way that you don't notice them at all. The pouch is long, but again, I don't notice it being a problem. My experience with Road Runner jocks is that I don't even know that I have it on! |

Maybe I am too old school but a 3" jock is always best. If you are doing a casual walk/jock or a day at the pool a 2" or swimmers jock will just hold things in place. For full out hard core workout it is a 3" Bike jockstrap. Yep I have 200 Bike jockstrap on the active reserve list. When one fails it is time for a replacement.
