Subject: Any compresssion shorts converts?
I remember wearing a BIKE jock as a kid for PE and baseball. By college, wearing a jock morphed into wearing "jock briefs" to run. My roommate always pulled on a BIKE to work out, but I didn't take the hint! I wore BIKE and DUKE jock briefs, which I guess were "almost" jocks with a seat. For post-college my gym workouts, I wore Under Armour and BIKE compression shorts-like every other guy in the gym. Jocks were rarely seen in the locker room. At some point, I rediscovered jocks and started wearing them at the gym. I'm guessing it was when my balls starting to get a natural sag, which demanded the support of a jock rather than the squish of compression shorts. Finding jocks, anywhere from CVS to sporting goods stores, was really easy then. It was always a boner moment checking out the Wall of Jocks at The Sports Authority to pick out my newest jock! It was never a big deal, but I did enjoy pulling on my strap in the locker room hoping that the others were checking out my new BIKE! Unlike a lot of you guys, I never had the balls to "jock it" to the showers. One time about 15 years ago I almost gave a swimmer jock to a guy at the gym. He swam at the end of his work out and he always wore his tighty whitey's UNDER his Speedo! He looked pretty goofing spending 5 minutes stuffing all the extra material in his Speedo. Today I'm a card-carrying jockaholic, and I'm enjoying the pleasures of expanding my jock collection with the help of eBay. Short story long, I'm asking how many other guys made the round trip from jocks to compression shorts and back to jocks? |

Subject: Compression shorts
I tried compression shorts once and they mashed everything. I like the freedom of a jock. I started wearing a jock in college I went to oshmans then sports authority to buy my jocks. I’m still wearing jocks but rarely see them in the gym at 24 hour. A few years back I saw a guy wearing one but that was some time ago. Where are the guys in Texas wearing jocks at??? |

I did try compression shorts when they first hit the market. I did not like how the compression shorts did not cup and support my boys so much as it just mashed the boys against my body. Not real comfortable. I quickly went back to jockstraps for my support at the gym an any where else I felt I needed to wear a jockstrap. Plus, I like the look of a jockstrap...how it cups a mans dick and balls and frames his ass. It is the most masculine piece of clothing there is. I think men look hot in jockstraps. I never understood why a lot of people consider jockstraps a "dirty" thing. I miss seeing the straps of a jock on football players or on tennis players under their white shorts. The only sport you see jockstraps in now is boxing. |

I also tried compression shorts at one time. Just like n2jocks said I did not care for the mashing. I also did not like they way they rode up on my thighs and crowded my nuts. They also held a lot of sweat and created a jock itch issue. I went back to a jockstrap rather fast. A good fitting jockstrap lets you be supported while still feeling naked under your shorts or jeans. |

I’ve tried wearing compression shorts and they’re not for me.
Tried a pair once whilst riding a bike and I found them really uncomfortable
Then I tried a pair under shorts whilst playing tennis and definitely won’t wear them again
Definitely not for me
Give me a jock any day |

JockP Do you have larger legs and those compression shorts just rode up and left you adjusting more than if you had a on a jock. I also tried compression shorts once but after my balls got mashed I went back to a jockstrap. After all. a jockstrap is all a man needs. |

Yeah maybe I’ve got large thighs but with the combination of low hangers and the material I find compression shorts very uncomfortable
I’m constantly adjusting my boys trying to find support and comfort
Maybe I’m too old but with low hangers ending up down one side which doesn’t look great or feel great
Plus on hot days they’re definitely not for me |

Subject: Compression shorts
I wear compression shorts when all I need is support, say to run or play tennis. For contact sports, I wear a jockstrap and cup over my compression shorts, and then put on another pair of compression shorts to hold everything in place. |

I started with compression shorts but quickly hated them. As most of you shared, they jam my cockNballs so badly that you always have to adjust. I tried a jockstrap and have never gone back. |
