When you are mixing it up with another guy on the mat you definitely can smell his man scent. Sometimes it's the smell of fresh perspiration brought on by his testosterone level being elevated. Or maybe a little more funk from going the day having showered earlier in the day. Maybe the smell of the AXE spry he used because he didn't have the chance to shower before getting dressed. Not to mention when you're grappling, you're not paying attention where you place your hands. You're just trying to get the advantage over your opponent. Believe me, the scent of a man gets the blood flowing to certain areas.

The guys on the mat right into the smell of the locker room and everything in between is intoxicating. If anything about a guy is nasty to you, you won't be the best you can be as a wrestler. You have to be comfortable with guys like that. Someone mentioned piss, I don't really know any guys who like piss so to speak, but they definitely are comfortable about it, from all circling the drain in the shower room to piss, to 3 to a urinal, to twice as many hip to hip at a trough style urinal, even multiple guys in a stall, when you need to piss you piss. Not necessarily on each other though. The varied smells of guys in wrestling practice can become almost overwhelming, and not in a bad way usually. hands definitely end up on things you didn't plan, often. And then the smell of your hands like the ball sack of your opponent, wow, just wow.

We had no training but loved the intense man-on-man exertion and shared flexing of muscles. We slept together too, naked, in a very small bed, spooning all night.
